ChairMora Legal Agreement

Terms of Service

Please read these terms carefully before exploring studios, scheduling appointments, or registering your barbershop or salon.

Last Updated: October 18, 2026·Version 2.6
Key Platform Principles
  • Zero Commission on Haircuts: ChairMora charges 0% commission on barbershop and salon services. Studio owners keep 100% of their cut revenue.
  • Independent Businesses: Salons, barbershops, and stylists listed on ChairMora are independent service providers, not employees of ChairMora.
  • Free for Clients: Clients never pay any subscription, booking, or reservation fee to use ChairMora to book a chair.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“User,” “Client,” or “Studio Owner”) and ChairMora Technologies Inc. (“ChairMora,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By accessing, browsing, or utilizing the ChairMora website (chairmora.com), booking an appointment, or listing a studio, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction) and possess the legal authority to enter into this agreement. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must immediately discontinue use of the platform.

2. ChairMora Platform Role

ChairMora operates as an online discovery marketplace, directory, and technology booking engine.

ChairMora is not a salon or barbershop. We do not provide cosmetology, barbering, haircutting, coloring, or styling services directly. When a Client schedules an appointment via ChairMora, the contract for styling services is formed directly and exclusively between the Client and the independent studio or stylist.

Each studio is solely responsible for service quality, licensing compliance, safety standards, and pricing accuracy.

3. Client Bookings & Cancellations

  • Instant Confirmation: When you submit a booking, the appointment is registered in real-time on the studio owner's digital agenda, and an instant confirmation alert is dispatched.
  • Arrival & Punctuality: Clients are expected to arrive at the studio on time. Repeated no-shows or late cancellations may result in a studio declining future appointments.
  • Two-Hour Online Booking Window: Clients booking through ChairMora must book at least two hours ahead, so the studio has time to prepare. Times inside that window are not offered for client self-booking.
  • Studio-Entered Appointments: A studio may add an appointment arranged by phone, in person, or elsewhere to its ChairMora calendar, including a short-notice appointment. This reserves the time against online bookings. If the studio provides the client's email, ChairMora automatically sends an appointment confirmation. These entries do not receive a self-service booking code.
  • Changing or Cancelling an Online Booking: Rescheduling follows the studio's saved change allowance and notice period: by default, one client change per appointment until 24 hours before its current start. A studio can allow 0 to 5 changes and set a notice period from 2 to 168 hours. The website, booking widget, SMS, WhatsApp, ChairMora phone line, voice chat and text chat share one allowance for the appointment. Switching channels does not reset it. Failed attempts and changes made by the studio do not use the client's allowance. Cancellation remains available while the appointment is more than two hours away. Verification and confirmation are required before a client change is made. When rescheduling is disabled, the allowance is used or the cutoff has passed, contact the studio directly. The ChairMora automated phone line cannot bypass the studio's rule.
  • Deposits: A studio may ask for a deposit to hold a booking. It is paid directly to the studio, through the studio's own payment link or by e-Transfer, and is governed by the studio's own policy. ChairMora shows the studio's instructions but does not collect, hold or refund deposits. A studio may ask every client for a deposit, or only clients with recent late cancellations or no-shows at that studio, based on that studio's own booking records.
  • Pickup products and shop payments: At participating studios, clients may order pickup products and monetary gift credit from the studio profile or during website booking. Products and gifts have a separate order total from the appointment. The studio sets product prices including applicable taxes, supplies the products and handles collection, returns and payment disputes. Shipping and stock tracking are not provided. Clients pay the exact total through the studio's own processor link, with the order reference. ChairMora does not collect or hold these funds. Processor fees may apply. The owner verifies the payment and records its receipt before activating gift credit; opening a link or booking a time is not proof of payment.
  • Monetary gifts: Gift amounts are whole units from 15 to 250 in the issuing studio's currency. The studio chooses the amounts offered and whether to allow custom amounts. Product and gift sales can be paused separately without removing existing orders or issued credit. Credit has no expiry or inactivity fee and is redeemable only at that issuing studio. The studio honours the credit and records each amount used; the remaining balance is kept in the holder's profile. Gift credit does not automatically reduce the online appointment total. A purchaser may keep it or send it by email or supported SMS after payment confirmation. A holder may transfer the entire remaining balance. Keep the claim link/code private: the first signed-in claimant can add an unclaimed gift to their profile. Delivery is not guaranteed; a reported failed, unclaimed gift can be reclaimed by its sender or retried by the studio. Purchased gift credit is separate from loyalty rewards.
  • Shop cancellations and refunds: Cancel an unpaid shop order from your profile. If payment has already been sent, contact the studio first. Moving or cancelling an appointment does not cancel its shop order or refund its payment. The studio makes any refund through its processor, then records it in ChairMora. The current tools support recording full order refunds while gift credit is completely unused; recording one removes its balance and invalidates its claim code. For a partially used gift or other dispute, contact the studio to arrange resolution. This describes the platform's tools and does not limit rights under applicable consumer law. Outstanding orders, pickups or gift balances may prevent account or studio deletion until they are settled.
  • Loyalty rewards: A studio may run a loyalty program that offers a reward, such as a discount or a free service, after a set number of completed visits. Rewards are offered and honoured by the studio, not by ChairMora, which does not process payment for appointments and is not responsible for a studio's decision to apply, change or withdraw a reward.
  • Changing by Phone: The ChairMora phone line can check, move or cancel an online booking under the same rescheduling allowance and notice period as the website; cancellation has the separate two-hour cutoff. You confirm with your confirmation code, sent by text or said aloud, from the mobile number the booking was made with. A change is only made after you confirm it on the call, and a confirmation text follows.
  • Booking by Phone or Text: The phone line, or texting our number with a booking request, can set up a new booking and hold the time (30 minutes after a call, 15 after texts) while we text you a link. The booking is only made when you confirm it on that page, signed in to your ChairMora account, under the same rules as any online booking. A held time that is not confirmed is released, and the link then books only if the time is still free. To prevent abuse we may limit how many times a phone number can hold, and a number that repeatedly lets holds lapse may be asked to book on the website instead. ChairMora currently supports SMS delivery to numbers in Canada, the United States and Puerto Rico. The home page shows phone and text booking options only for visitors detected in those regions, because these booking flows use a texted confirmation link. If detection is unavailable, those options stay hidden.
  • Booking from a Studio's Website: A studio may display a ChairMora booking widget on its own website. Clients can choose a service, stylist and available time in the widget. If account sign-in is needed, a secure ChairMora window opens to finish the booking and returns confirmation to the widget. Selecting a time alone does not reserve it; the appointment is made only after final confirmation. Studio owners may save custom widget colors on any plan. The widget displays Powered by ChairMora unless the studio has an active paid plan and chooses to remove the credit. Free, trial and lapsed subscriptions retain the credit.
  • Booking by WhatsApp: You can describe the appointment you want in an ordinary message to ChairMora's WhatsApp business sender. The assistant asks follow-up questions as needed; the word BOOK also works. We offer only shops, services and times returned by the current ChairMora catalogue. A proposed time is held for a limited period and is not an appointment until you open the secure ChairMora link, sign in and confirm it. WhatsApp availability depends on messaging service availability.
  • Booking and Changing by Voice: The voice help on this site can find studios, services and open times and then open the studio's booking page with your choices filled in. A booking is only made when you confirm it on that page. Voice help can also check, move or cancel an online booking under the studio's same rescheduling allowance and notice period, with a separate two-hour cancellation cutoff, using your confirmation code and the email address or mobile number you booked with, and only after you confirm the change out loud. If you ask for studios near you, sharing your location is optional. Each call lasts up to 5 minutes, each browser may start 5 calls in any 24 hours, and calls are transcribed as described in our Privacy Policy.
  • Booking by SMS: Where the studio has Studio Pro or a higher plan and enabled booking texts, you may reply with your confirmation code from the booked phone number, or verify using the booked email and an emailed one-time code. That code is printed on both the booking confirmation and the reminder, so a reminder can be answered directly. A verified SMS session lasts one hour. You can request booking status, a change, or cancellation, and ask ChairMora questions. Changes require confirmation and follow the studio's rescheduling allowance and notice period; cancellation has the separate two-hour cutoff. A bare CANCEL is treated by the messaging carrier as an opt-out, so use CANCEL BOOKING to start a booking cancellation.
  • Assistant Memory: Our website chat, website voice, phone and messaging assistants may use Twilio Conversation Orchestrator and Conversation Memory to recall a prior shop or service preference. This feature is enabled by channel as it becomes available. A memory can be inaccurate or outdated. It does not establish your identity, prove you hold a booking, guarantee a price or reserve a time. The current ChairMora booking record and the normal verification and confirmation steps control. Website conversations use an anonymous browser identity; phone and messaging conversations use channel identifiers.
  • SMS consent and limits: Appointment texts are optional and tied to the booking for which you agreed to receive them. They are plain text messages with no images; message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP to opt out; carrier opt-out handling still applies even when you selected the booking consent box. Automated replies and verification attempts are limited to prevent misuse.
  • Time Alerts: A time alert is a single heads-up that a matching time opened, sent once by email, in your notification bell and, if you opted in and the studio's plan includes texts, by text. It does not reserve, hold or promise the time. Up to three people can wait for one time; when it opens they are told one at a time, first to ask first, and each has a 15-minute head start before the next is told, but anyone booking online can still take it meanwhile. Once you are alerted, your alert is used up. Alerts are checked every few minutes, so a time may be gone before you see one. You can hold up to three waiting alerts and remove them in My Account. Reply STOP to any text to opt out of texts.
  • Changes to Studio-Entered Appointments: Contact the studio directly to change or cancel a booking it entered for you. The ChairMora help chat cannot manage an entry without a self-service booking code.
  • Cancellation Policies: Because stylists reserve their chairs exclusively for your requested time slot, clients must communicate cancellations in advance. A studio may set its own policy for repeated late cancellations.
  • Confirmation Codes: The short code on your confirmation identifies your booking. Treat it like a ticket: anyone holding both it and the contact detail on the booking can change or cancel that appointment.
  • Payments for Haircuts: Unless explicitly noted otherwise, service fees are paid directly to the studio or stylist at the time of appointment completion according to the studio's accepted payment methods.

4. Studio Accounts & Listing Verification

  • Who May Hold One: A studio account is for a person who genuinely operates a barbershop, salon or chair-rental business, or is authorised to act for one. If you only want to book appointments, create a free client account instead.
  • Manual Calendar Entry: Studio owners may record appointments they arranged outside ChairMora. Enter only information needed to manage the appointment, tell the client how their details will be used, and obtain any permission required before adding contact details or notes. Studio owners are responsible for accurate entries and email addresses. ChairMora sends a confirmation when a client email is provided; the studio communicates changes directly.
  • Client List Imports: An authorised studio owner may upload client contacts from another system through Clients & Import. The owner is responsible for having the right to bring those details and notes to ChairMora. The import creates private studio contacts only; it does not create client accounts, appointments or permission to send SMS or marketing messages.
  • External calendar sync is best-effort: ChairMora can read the busy times from a calendar you connect, and publishes your bookings at an address your calendar app can subscribe to. Both directions depend on third-party software that decides for itself when to fetch and when to publish, and none of those providers guarantee a schedule. We re-read connected calendars when a client is booking you and periodically in the background; your own app collects ours on its own timing, which can be hours. A change made in one place may therefore not be visible in the other for some time. Use external sync at your own risk: your ChairMora calendar is the authoritative record of your bookings, and time you cannot afford to have booked over should be blocked in ChairMora itself.
  • Team scheduling and alerts: Studio owners choose which services each stylist performs, may block each stylist's dates off from new online bookings, and may set separate email and text alert preferences for each stylist. Blocking time off does not automatically change an appointment already on the calendar; the studio must review those bookings.
  • Client email and chat: On Studio Pro, Studio AI Suite and Enterprise, owners and workspace members with Clients access may start direct client threads, group chats and bulk email campaigns from Clients & Import. Invited stylists need active access on a qualifying plan and owner-enabled client contact permission; their calendar scope limits the available client list. Chat recipients need a verified email account matching a studio contact. Group participants see each other's names and message history. Studio senders are responsible for their content and recipient choices and must respect clients' channel preferences. Do not use these tools for harassment, unauthorized disclosure or unsolicited email.
  • Client Inbox: A studio may reply by email to an inquiry sent from its public page when the client supplied a valid email address. The studio reviews any AI-generated draft before sending it and is responsible for the content of its reply.
  • Live Guide: Paid plans include a voice assistant in the Studio Workspace (Starter Free includes a demo). Its answers are generated by AI and can be wrong; check anything important in the dashboard before relying on it. On Studio AI Suite and Enterprise it can answer from the studio's own records. Money figures are the menu value of booked services, not payments received, and cancellation “reasons” are patterns, not what clients said. The studio is responsible for how it uses client information it hears. Each session lasts up to 5 minutes and uses the plan's monthly Live Guide minutes (see Monthly allowances and top-ups), with up to 12 sessions per owner per day, and it may only be used for running the studio.
  • One Account Per Email: An email address belongs to either a client account or a studio account, never both at once. If you need both, use a separate address for the second.
  • Phone Verification Before Listing: A new studio's dashboard works immediately, but its public page stays out of search results, out of search-engine indexes, and closed to online bookings until the studio verifies the phone number it publishes. We send a one-time code by text to that number and it is entered in the dashboard. The verified number becomes the number shown on the public listing.
  • Accuracy of the Number and Address: You must verify a phone number your business actually answers, at an address where it actually trades. Verification is refused where the same number or the same address is already held by another listed studio. Each location of a multi-location studio verifies its own published number.
  • Placement Tiers: Studios with a genuine trading history on the platform may be marked as established, which makes them eligible for higher directory placement. Placement is not for sale as a standalone product and is never a representation by ChairMora about the quality of a studio's work.
  • Stylist Sign-ins: On Studio Pro and above you may give your stylists a sign-in to your studio calendar. You choose what each one sees and can do, you are responsible for who you invite and for their use of client information, and you can remove their access at any time.
  • Hiding Your Listing: You can hide your studio from ChairMora's listings at any time with the “Show in ChairMora listings” switch in your Studio Workspace. While hidden, it does not appear on the home page, city pages, search, in search engines or in ChairMora's assistants, but its own profile link keeps working so existing clients can still book. Turning the switch back on restores it.
  • Dormant Listings: A listing with no bookings and no owner sign-ins for 90 consecutive days is hidden from the directory automatically. It is not deleted, and verifying again restores it.
  • Suspension: We may hide or suspend a listing or an account that we reasonably believe is fabricated, impersonates another business, misstates its location, or otherwise breaches these Terms. Where practical you will be told why and given a chance to correct it.

5. Studio Subscriptions & 0% Commission

Studio AI Suite: CAD $159/month, or CAD $129/month billed annually as CAD $1,548/year.

Unlimited chairs at one studio. unlimited chairs and everything in Studio Pro with 2,000 SMS segments and 25 Live Guide minutes a month, plus the AI tools (including the AI social post writer), this Studio Assistant, and Live Guide answers from the studio's own business data: bookings, earnings, reviews, client messages and cancellation patterns

Multi-Location Enterprise: CAD $549/month, or CAD $449/month billed annually as CAD $5,388/year.

Unlimited chairs; up to five locations. unlimited chairs and everything in AI Suite for up to 5 locations, with 7,500 SMS segments and 50 Live Guide minutes a month pooled across all locations, cross-location fleet reports (bookings, revenue, commission and hours side by side), fleet-wide AI and dedicated onboarding

Seven-day introductory trial: A new studio starts with Studio Pro access for seven days. During that period, its owner may switch between Studio Pro, Studio AI Suite and Enterprise without changing the original end date. No payment card is required, and the trial does not begin a paid subscription automatically. At the deadline, Starter Free begins unless the owner has chosen a paid subscription. Features above the Free allowance end, and any secondary Enterprise locations become private without being deleted. The trial includes Studio Pro's monthly text and Live Guide allowance once, whichever plan is being explored, and top-ups cannot be bought during it.

Monthly allowances and top-ups: Paid plans include the outbound studio SMS segments and owner Live Guide minutes listed above for each calendar month, resetting at midnight on the first in the flagship studio's time zone. A delegated workspace Admin uses the owner's allowance. An SMS segment is the carrier billing unit: up to 160 plain characters, 153 per part in longer texts, or 70 (67) when a text contains characters outside the standard SMS set. Every text sent for a studio counts, including owner and stylist alerts; texts ChairMora sends as its own public service do not. Unused allowance does not carry over. When a studio's texts run out, booking confirmations and reminders continue by email and no text is sent until the allowance resets or a top-up is added. Top-ups (250 SMS segments for CAD $10; 1,000 SMS segments for CAD $30; 2,500 SMS segments for CAD $60; 30 Live Guide minutes for CAD $9; 60 Live Guide minutes for CAD $15) are optional one-time purchases made only when the owner chooses one; they do not renew, are used after the monthly allowance, remain available until used, and are non-refundable once used. Live Guide time is reserved when a session starts and the unused part is returned when it ends.

Price changes: A subscription keeps the price it began with while it stays on the same plan and billing cycle. Changing plan or billing cycle moves it to the price shown on the pricing page at that time.

0% Commission Guarantee: ChairMora does not deduct percentages from your styling revenue. Studio subscriptions are flat monthly/annual software fees processed securely via Stripe.

Paid chairs and cancellation: Starter Free includes up to three chairs and cannot purchase extras. Studio Pro includes up to ten chairs; Pro owners may activate additional chairs beyond that allowance forCAD $17/month per chair, or CAD $14/month billed annually as CAD $168/year. Adding a chair to an existing add-on may create a prorated charge for the remaining billing period. Removing one of several paid chairs takes effect immediately and Stripe applies unused time as account credit; removing the final paid chair leaves it active through the already-paid period and then ends the add-on. Choosing Starter Free while a paid monthly or annual plan is active stops its renewal and schedules Free to begin at the end of the current paid period; paid features remain available until then. The introductory trial ends at its original seven-day deadline; it does not end early when an owner views the Starter Free option. Moving to AI Suite, Enterprise or a legacy plan with unlimited chairs automatically stops paid-chair add-ons from renewing, and a later downgrade never restarts them without the owner choosing them again.

Enterprise location changes: Multi-location publication is an Enterprise entitlement. When an Enterprise account changes to AI Suite, Studio Pro, Starter Free, or otherwise loses active Enterprise access, the flagship location remains eligible for public listing under the new plan. Secondary locations are removed from the home page, city directory, search, public profile and online booking, but are not deleted. The owner may continue switching between and managing them in Studio Workspace and receives a private in-app notice. If Starter Free was scheduled, these changes happen when the paid Enterprise period ends. Returning to active Enterprise access restores public eligibility subject to each location's verification and suspension status. Paid profiles are never hidden or ranked lower solely for inactivity. After 90 days without bookings, sign-ins or profile updates, paid owners receive an in-app and email reminder, at most once every 90 days while inactive. Starter Free listings are warned after 60 quiet days and hidden after a further 30 days without activity. Signing in restores eligibility on the next nightly check, subject to verification. Client details in appointment records may be removed after six further months hidden.

6. Studio Content, Media Storage & Ownership

Studio owners retain full copyright ownership of logos, studio photography, video reels, and service descriptions uploaded to their profile.

Media Storage & Fair Use: Studios may upload photo and video assets to showcase their work, facilities, and staff. Starter Free accounts include hosting for one hero cover banner, up to 10 high-resolution gallery photos (up to 10MB per file; PNG, JPG, WEBP), and 1 video reel or walkthrough (up to 50MB per file; MP4, MOV, WEBM, or linked online video). Paid subscription tiers (Studio Pro, Studio AI Suite, and Enterprise) receive unlimited high-resolution photo and video reel storage subject to standard fair-use parameters. Content must directly represent the studio, its cuts, and facilities, and must not infringe on third-party intellectual property or contain prohibited material.

By uploading content to ChairMora, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display your studio profile, images, and menu across our directory, marketing channels, and search previews to promote your business. You represent and warrant that you hold all necessary copyright and publicity rights for all images submitted.

Service Photos: On every plan, a studio may attach one optional photo to each service, separately from its gallery. Service photos accept JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF or AVIF up to 6 MB and appear in the public menu, booking picker and embedded widget. Clients can preview the full image before choosing a service. Owners may grant invited stylists permission to manage photos for services their active chair performs. Removing a photo does not remove the service or change its price.

7. Reviews, Messages & Platform Announcements

  • Only Real Clients May Review: A review can be submitted only by a signed-in client account for an appointment that account actually held — at that studio, already in the past, and not cancelled — and only once per appointment. Anonymous reviews, reviews of a studio you have not visited, and reviews written by a studio about itself are not possible on the platform and are not permitted.
  • What a Studio Controls: A studio may switch reviews, or the written comments within them, off for its own page. A studio cannot edit, delete, reorder or add individual reviews, and ChairMora does not remove a review because it is unflattering. We may remove one that is unlawful, abusive, or contains personal information about a third party.
  • Your Licence to Us: By submitting a review you grant ChairMora a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display it on the studio's page and in directory listings, attributed to the name on your account.
  • Service Messages: Booking confirmations, changes, cancellations and reminders are service communications tied to an appointment. They are not marketing and are sent whether or not you have opted into anything else. A reminder is emailed to every booking that supplied an email address; text reminders go only to clients who agreed to them at booking. Reminders are sent 24 hours before the appointment, or three hours before where the booking was made inside that window and the appointment falls on a later day.
  • Studio bulk email: Each client must subscribe to the individual studio before receiving its campaigns. Importing contacts, creating a booking or joining a chat does not grant email consent. Clients may unsubscribe without signing in using the link in each studio email, or disable bulk email globally or per studio in account communication preferences. Campaigns are limited to 100 recipients and 500 recipients per studio in a rolling 24 hours. A sent status means the email provider accepted it, not that it reached the recipient's inbox. On Starter Free, studios cannot start or send campaigns or chats; queued campaigns are skipped and new messages in existing threads pause. Clients retain history, preferences and leave-chat controls.
  • Client chat choices: Clients may disable direct messages and group chats separately, per studio or globally, or leave a conversation. Opt-outs also block new messages in existing conversations. Groups pause for an opted-out member until they leave or enable group chats again. Leaving removes future access and does not erase shared history; a sender cannot reopen a direct thread after its client leaves. Studio email and chat choices do not change appointment notifications, public-profile inquiry replies, platform news or newsletter choices.
  • Platform Announcements: ChairMora may publish product announcements to the in-app notification area of your account. Receiving those same announcements by email is off unless you switch it on, and every such email carries a one-click unsubscribe that takes effect immediately and permanently. This is separate from your service communications, which continue either way.
  • ChairMora Circle Newsletter: You may separately join our newsletter through its signup form. Our newsletter provider manages contacts, delivery and unsubscribes. Joining the newsletter does not change your booking messages or account announcement preferences.

8. Prohibited Activities

Users and studio owners agree not to:

  • Post misleading, deceptive, or fraudulent studio profiles, pricing, or reviews.
  • Create a studio account, or verify a phone number or address, for a business you do not operate or are not authorised to represent.
  • Submit, solicit, incentivise, or trade reviews that do not come from a genuine client of that studio.
  • Guess at confirmation codes, or attempt to view or change an appointment that is not yours.
  • Deploy bots, scrapers, or automated tools to crawl the directory or overload server capacity.
  • Circumvent or tamper with platform security measures, authentication tokens, or rate limiters.
  • Use ChairMora's chat, voice or phone assistants to impersonate someone else, reach another person's booking, extract their instructions or system details, or run them in bulk or by automated means.
  • Harass, threaten, or abuse stylists, clients, or ChairMora support staff.

9. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

THE CHAIRMORA PLATFORM IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

Automated assistants. ChairMora's help chat, voice help, phone line, Studio Assistant, Live Guide and AI analysis tools generate their answers automatically and can be wrong or incomplete. They are a convenience, not advice. Always check prices, times and policies on the studio's booking page or with the studio before relying on them. A booking or change is only made when it is confirmed through the booking page, the confirmation steps described in Section 3, or by the studio itself. We may limit, pause or change these assistants at any time.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, CHAIRMORA TECHNOLOGIES INC. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DISPUTES OVER STYLING RESULTS, SERVICE CANCELLATIONS, PROPERTY DAMAGE, OR PHYSICAL INJURY ARISING AT ANY INDEPENDENT STUDIO.

IN NO EVENT SHALL CHAIRMORA'S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO CHAIRMORA DURING THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

10. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law.

Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be resolved first through informal good-faith negotiations with our legal department before seeking binding adjudication in the competent courts of Montreal, Quebec.
